Although Nanarobe claims their ingredients are sustainably sourced, there isn&#39;t any information available on how they obtain the swiftlet nest used in this product. Harvesting swiftlet nests can harm bird populations if offspring and eggs are destroyed in the process. Many countries, however, are now regulating the industry, and mandating that nests only be harvested after the babies are old enough to leave--which can actually help swiftlet populations. It would be helpful to know what farms Nanarobe works with to ensure ecological sustainability.

This isn&#39;t quite hydrating enough on its own for my dehydrated skin, so I like to layer it with a hydrating toner or cream.

The product has a strong citrus smell from the essential oils it contains. These oils can also be sensitizing for some people.

This gel cream aims to replace your serums and moisturizers with a single product. Therefore, it contains a number of ingredients to address a wide variety of concerns, including hydration (glycerin, hyaluronic acid, squalane), brightening (vitamin C, rice, licorice, ginseng), soothing (skullcap), and anti-aging (collagen). The star ingredient is hydrolized swiftlet nest, which is rich in protein, antiviral, and has anti-aging properties.

The product comes in a squeeze tube and has a loose gel consistency. It spreads easily over the skin and feels hydrating. I like to use it in the morning to support an additional vitamin C serum, because I like a stronger active.

It has a strong citrus scent that I personally don’t mind, but may be a turn off for some.

HYDROLYZED SWIFT NEST (#5) This is the star ingredient of this product. This ingredient isn’t well known to the majority of skincare lovers out there, but is a unique ingredient that really makes this product special. This ingredient is very skin conditioning, moisturizing, and anti-aging. 
+ Many more hydrating, skin brightening, &amp; skin plumping ingredients. 

Controversial Ingredients: Alcohol (#3) &amp; Orange peel oil (#22)
As I stated before, alcohol isn’t a horrible product in all products. It helps other ingredients penetrate better into the skin so you see more benefits from those great ingredients. Also, it helps to enhance the texture of products so it feels better on our skin. Also, the alcohol in this product is sandwiched in between MANY super hydrating ingredients &amp; is a MOISTURIZER so this will not dry out your skin. That being said, if you have sensitivities to alcohol then feel free to find a product more suitable for you.
Also, this contains orange peel oil which could be sensitizing for some. I have no sensitivities to it and I love the faint citrus smell that this has.

I’ve used this product for about a week and a half as my morning moisturizer. This keeps me hydrated and moisturized throughout the day without any shininess. I also tested this as a night moisturizer and I surprisingly didn’t wake up with any dryness for being such a light moisturizer.

I honestly love this moisturizer! It is really nice and refreshing when I use it in the morning and I definitely feel the hydration throughout the day while using this without being thick or greasy at all. It instantly soaks up in the skin &amp; I think it’s a great thin daytime moisturizer.
