The Good
The texture of this lotion is thick and feels like it’s meant to really coat and protect the skin. It’s fragrance-free but still has a natural scent, and it applies smoothly without being too greasy. It’s designed to exfoliate and hydrate, and I can see how it would work well for someone with very dry or rough skin who needs something strong.
The Bad
For me, the texture is too thick and heavy — it doesn’t sink into my skin the way I’d like, and instead it feels like it just sits on top. I also don’t like the smell at all, which makes it less enjoyable to use. Even though it’s marketed as hydrating and renewing, I didn’t love the experience of applying it.
Overall
This lotion has a dynamic formula with exfoliating and hydrating claims, but it just wasn’t a good fit for me. The thick texture and unpleasant smell make it something I wouldn’t buy again. I think it could work better for someone with very dry, textured skin, but personally, I’ll stick with a lighter Aveeno product that feels more refreshing and easy to use.
