I decided to get two different colors because the medium brown shade was light for my eyebrows. The other eyebrow color I used from Lys, is their soft black. I have brown hair but my eyebrows are dark brown, so sometimes people think they look black. The soft black mixed great in my thick eyebrows, without them flaking off, and covered the little space in the middle of the eyebrows. When looking at the eyebrow pencil applicator, I noticed it has a triangle-shaped point to it and then a straight line point. My opinion, I like the idea of the triangle because my eyebrows at the end naturally have an upside-down triangle and the applicator gives great precession to them without making the end look too big. The other side of the pencil has a brush to blend in the color just in case you missed some spots, to make it even.
