Respect Water Cleanser

product review positives
The brand is cruelty free, fragrance free & vegan. The ingredients are in comparison to other gentle cleansers like CeraVe or La Roche Posay not basic at all. This product is packed with antioxidants, calming & soothing ingredients. It contains Chamomile Flower Water, Green Tea Leaf Water, Centella Asiatica, my favorite Panthenol, Mellow Extract, Allantonin & all of them are soothing, calming & are packed with antioxidants. Also Algae, Panthenol & Chamomile help to get rid of redness. Hydrating ingredients are Glycerin, Sodium PCA & Panthenol. Also there is a bit of Lactic Acid (PHA) which is a really gentle exfoliater. The product comes in an airtight container, which I like, because it guarantees you that the product doesn't turn. Also one pump gives you the right amount. It is a clear gel which is cooling to the touch, it is non-foaming & non-stripping. It really prepairs your skin for the upcoming steps of my routine. I appreciate that on their website the brand tells you exactly how to recycle the packaging. Since this is a really gentle cleanser, I would definitely suggest double cleansing. This will probably not be enough if you wear makeup or waterproof sunscreen. I think for oily folk's this has not enough power. The feeling it leaves on the skin comparable to the CeraVe hydrating cleanser, but with a really nice glow.
product review negatives
The one downside I have was the smell, it is not as pleasant. I can't pinpoint what exactly my problem with the smell is, but it's hard to get used too. Also is was the most pricy cleanser I have ever tried (33€).
