The CeraVe Renewing SA Cream has a wonderful ingredient list. Salicyclic acid is at 3% on for this product which is the highest I have seen. Other honourable ingredients are glycerin good for hydration, niacinamide, good for oil and sebum control, hyperpigmentation and clearing acne scars cermamide NP, ceramide EOP, and ceramide AP, which are great for the skin barrier.
This product is quite a large jar, it is 340g, and it was definitely worth the price. I paid about $21 CAD for it at a drug store.
Thr CeraVe Renewing SA Cream is ideal for those who have sensitive and dry skin. The product is a thick cream which is very moisturzing, a tad bit too heavy for somebody with more combination to oily skin. I found this product to be too thick, to the point where it couldn’t absorb into my skin. It sat on my face throughout the day and night, without being absorbed.
I think the Renewing SA lotion might be a better option for those with combination to oily skin.
I wish this product came in a tube or in a bottle that had a pump. Even though I do clean my hands before applying the cream on my face, I still think I’m introducing bacteria into the jar that the product is stored in.
