This is a nice, creamy serum.
It’s not heavy, it works well under a moisturizer, but if you have oily skin it could potentially be used as a moisturizer, especially during the day.
The serum is very gentle, it works really well for sensitive or sensitized skin. I like to use it when i have redness or inflamed acne.
The packaging is an easy to use pump, which is my favourite type of packaging.
It has some great ingredients that support the health of skin barrier and work against TEWL, but it’s not very expensive, especially when compared with other ceramide products.
The smell is very faint, barely noticable.
It works well with most products and actives.
The effects aren’t easily noticable, it’s more of a reparative, protective serum that i like to use as a prevention, but if you need fast soothing, it won’t do the job.
I’m not a fan of the name as 5% is about a ceramide complex, not ceramides themselves.
I usually prefer water serums, but i got used to it and don’t really mind that’s it’s a light cream/emulsion type serum.
