After washing, my skin didn’t feel tight or stripped at all. Instead, it felt squeaky clean yet still hydrated. However, I don’t think this cleanser would be effective at removing waterproof makeup, so it works best as a second cleanse or for days when you’re not wearing heavy makeup.
