I typically have normal, but if my moisturizer isn't hydrating enough, I'll get dry patches. I also get lots of breakouts and am currently trying to heal scarring. I love this moisturizer. I generally don't love gels since I find them too light/not hydrating enough. But this one is amazing. No breakouts, redness, dryness or anything after use. I only use this as a daytime cream (it layers very well under makeup btw) so I do use a richer cream at night, but I don't find my skin needs extra moisture throughout the day. If you have severe dryness, you might want to layer this with a moisturizing serum or use a richer cream on very dry patches. Overall, I've been using it for almost a year and I really feel like my skin is calmer. I'm stocking up on another two as I type haha
