I received this product for free from Octoly and Fresh in exchange for my honest review. The Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream from Fresh contains ingredients such as hyaluronic acid to hydrate your skin and damask rose to strengthen the skin’s barrier. It also contains time-release technology that delivers continuous hydration for 72 hours after application. It is alcohol-free, sulfate-free, and paraben-free. Claims: ✔Provides immediate hydration ❓72 hour deep hydration ✔Strengthens the skin’s barrier ✔Softens the skin ✔Soothes the skin My experience: The texture of this cream is very smooth and creamy. It is incredibly thick and only takes a small amount of product to cover the face and neck so the jar should last a while. The cream takes a minute to absorb due to its consistency, but once it does my skin looks immediately plumped and hydrated and feels softer to the touch. It does leave the skin feeling very dewy and, in my case, a bit too dewy. Since I have combination/oily skin, this moisturizer is actually a bit too heavy for my skin. However, I can still see the positive effects of this cream and can definitely say that, after using it as a night cream, my skin stayed hydrated for a while. While I’m not sure that it was quite 72 hours before the effects wore off, my skin was definitely hydrated all throughout the next day. I have actually been using a basic, hydrating routine lately to repair my skin barrier and I definitely think that this moisturizer has helped in that regard. I can see soothing benefits from the moisturizer right after application.
