The texture is lightweight and sinks into the skin really nicely. It leaves my skin feeling soft, calm and well hydrated without feeling heavy. I also liked that the herbal scent is much more subtle than the original Madeca Cream. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a tacky finish, which makes it comfortable for everyday use. A small amount goes a long way and my skin feels smooth and soothed after applying.
There is still a slight herbal scent, so if you’re very sensitive to fragrance you might notice it. While I personally like the lighter texture, people who prefer a richer barrier cream might find this version a bit too light compared to the original Madeca Cream.
