I stumbled upon a yt video about this balm and I was super intrigued by it. So I had to purchase it ASAP.
The horrible whitecast is the first thing I noticed when I used it for the first time. I have a really hard time while blending this balm into my skin๐ I donโt really mind because I usually use it at night but still, the whitecast is really bad..
In the yt vid, the balm is claimed to be good for dry sensitive acne prone skin. But I donโt entirely agree with that. Ngl it is an AMAZING BALM for dry sensitive skin but for acne prone skin...for me, itโs a NO. I donโt know if itโs just me, but it doesnโt seem to be doing anything to my acne. Also, this product has a really heavy consistency so it makes my dry skin, oily and clogged. Especially when I sweat in the middle of the day. Thatโs why I donโt use it for AM.
As for night, this balm works wonderfullyโจ Because of the texture, the moisture lasts me the whole night and the next day, I would wake up with moisturized supple skin!!
Other than that, I do notice that it decreases my redness rather slowly. I always remember that patience is key and by the third week, my redness around the acne is almost completely gone and unnoticeable. My dry patches are completely gone too!๐ฅณ Despite all that, I think it is unnecessary to use this for a whole face moisturizer. Imo, this balm is more suitable to apply on specific areas that has dry patches or redness. Kinda like a calming spot treatment.
Overall, itโs a very nice balm but I might not repurchase it..for pricing and effectiveness reason. This balm is super expensive in my country ๐ฉ
