This is a review for the La Roche-Posay Anthelios Dermo-Pediatrics Invisible Spray. (Long name!) This version doesn't contain butane and has a pump instead.
It boasts SPF 50+ and UVA 36 and it is water, sweat and sand resistant.
It contains denatured alcohol along with glycerin and 6 UV filters.
It's a 200ml spray bottle which is, in my opinion good value for money. I worked out 4 pumps is the recommended 1/4 teaspoon. I use it on my body too.
It has a texture slightly thicker than the Shaka fluid, (probably due to the glycerin) and it absorbs with no white cast. It definitely does not dry my skin out at all.
I prefer this over the Shaka fluid due to the price point and the less drying aspect.
Depending on what other skincare I have used in my morning routine before it can make my skin sticky for a bit and gives a sort of dewy look, but it does also look greasy until it absorbs, and especially when I reapply.
I have taken to not using any moisturising products other than toner in my morning routine because of this and the result is that my skin is less sticky and greasy but still moisturised.
I find reapplication easy, as I spray it on my face (not sure if you are meant to? 🤔) then use a make-up sponge to pat it in)
I rate this one 4/5.
I wouldn't say it's my hold grail sunscreen, but it is working for me at the moment 🙌 I've repurchased another.
