I used this cleansing oil for a while as my first cleanser. Bought and tried it out of curiosity. So, what do I say?

This cleansing oil is a Japanese cleansing oil that deep cleanses pores . Used as first cleanser. This CO helps to keep pores clean and the skin clear.

* Blend of artichoke and peppermint extracts โ moiturises and tightens the skin.
* Gentle fruit acids โ soften keratin plugs

* Free from fragrances, dyes, parabens, alcohol and silicones.
* Deeply cleanses pores and effectively lifts away even the most stubborn make up and waterproof mascara, even when the skin is damp.

* Comes in 230ml transparent plastic pump bottle. We can see the liquid inside.
*There is a bit of decoration on the bottleโs sticker pasted on its body
* The pump head is in metallic gold colour. Once again, I feel rich

* Thick oil textured that glides easily and easy to spread on whole face.
* It is thick but it is a bit runny. The oil does feeling heavy on the face while massaging it.
* It has orange-y smell. Not citrus but real orange alone. I am not sure and a bit confused, it claims for fragrance free but it smells like orange.

* Pump the liquid onto dry palm, apply to dry face, massage for a while, rinse it thoroughly with water then followed with water-based cleanser for double cleansing.

* First of all, this is not my favourite first cleanser. Not my favourite cleansing oil. Why? It doesnโt emulsify!
* I love an emulsifying CO, it will be so satisfied to see the milky liquid flowing down from my face.
* The oil is thick but easily to be spread. However, I do not enjoy massaging my face using thick oil. It feels a bit heavy.
* It is also quite hard to remove. After rinsing it with water, I can feel some kind of residue on my skin. It will be gone after I use my second cleanser but still.. why?
* I found that, using this CO alone to remove my full make up isnโt enough. It doesnโt really help. I can still feel the oil and residues on my skin especially inside my pores since I have large pores. So, I use another makeup remover specifically for eyes and lips for my waterproof eyeliner and mascara, then I use micellar water to remove one layer of foundations. When my skin is dry again, I proceed to use this CO. Then, I can feel that my skin is clean.
* My skin also feels a bit weird after rinsing it. It feels a bit tight but actually not really tight ( I hope youโll get what I mean). Luckily when I use my second cleanser, my skin feels back to normal.
* There is one time when this CO accidentally entered my eyes but it doesnโt make my eyes becomes blurry or painful (I am so thankful for that). However, it leaves an uncomfortable feelings so I quickly rinse my eyes with water and it will be gone real quick.
* This CO doesnโt give any negative reactions to my skin.

I am forcing myself to finish up this CO and I already have a bit left as per today. Canโt wait for it to finish. It is not up to my liking and my satisfaction level. My cousin also once tried this CO and she said โOkay lah CO ni,โ
If I can rate it based on my experience, I will give this CO rate of 2/5.
