My Take:
I didn’t realize but I haven’t used a dedicated sleeping mask since the OG Laneige mask back in 2014 when it was like the only sleeping mask on the market. I found this mask is a little strange…
I love the texture, it’s thick but cooling, great for this time of year. There is a faint scent that is quite pleasant.
I apply a thick layer, which dries down after 15 minutes or so and becomes quite matte. There’s no problem of leaving any of it on your pillowcase. The next morning, my skin feels a little dry, but when I wash my face, I can feel the layer of the mask washing off.
I tried this with and without my moisturizer underneath and the results is the same. I don’t seem to wake up with more glowy hydrated skin but it’s not worse or anything. Maybe this mask is acting as an occlusive?
Conclusion:
Due to some testing conflicts, I need some more time to play with this to draw a conclusion.
