Mists are especially satisfying to use during the hotter months. It’s refreshing, versatile, and quickly adds hydration to parched skin. The Sioris mist is a bit different because it’s bi-phase. It has a liquid toner layer and a thin yellow-colored oil layer. It can be used as a toner, a liquid serum, or a pick-me-up mist anytime of the day. It comes in a minimally designed hard plastic bottle that is equipped with a fine mister. Needs to be shaken to mix water and oil thoroughly.
The toner layer contains 78% yuja fruit water (or green plum extract, depending on the season) while the oil layer contains a blend of macadamia oil, jojoba oil, and sunflower oil. This ingredient combination gives hydrating and nourishing effects and helps repair and protect skin barrier. Daily use will benefit all skin types particularly dry and dehydrated.
This oil-mist is free of alcohol but has fragrant plant extracts (those with very sensitive skin will want to skip this). It has a citrusy scent, not overpowering but rather pleasant, and that’s coming from someone who is not a fan of citrusy scents.
It didn’t work on my skin though. It just sat on my face in a greasy layer and irritated my skin after a week of twice a day use. I tried again but just a few times a week — this works better, no breakouts, no redness, but still left an oily film on skin.
It has fragrant plant oils that may cause irritation or allergic reactions.
