Clean it Zero Matcha Cleansing Balm

product review positives
The texture is genuinely satisfying — it starts as this solid balm and just melts into oil the second it touches your warm skin. Feels kinda luxurious, not gonna lie. It takes off makeup like it's nothing. Even stubborn stuff like mascara and long-wear foundation just slides off with barely any rubbing. Skin doesn't feel tight or stripped after. It rinses clean, no greasy residue left behind, which honestly a lot of balms fail at. The matcha scent is light and natural, not that fake-perfume smell some cleansers have. Comes with a little spatula so you're not double-dipping your fingers into the tub, which I actually appreciate for hygiene. Great as step one of a double cleanse — follow up with a gentle foam or gel cleanser and your skin feels properly clean without that squeaky-dry feeling.
product review negatives
It's a jar, not a pump, so it's a little messy/bulky if you're traveling with it. A few people do report some stinging around the eyes if you're not careful, so go gentle in that area. The spatula that comes with it is small, kind of annoying when you want to scoop more. It's not fragrance-free — has a mild scent, so if you're extremely fragrance-sensitive that's worth knowing. On rare occasions people report breakouts, though that seems to be the exception, not the rule, and it can depend on your skin type
