This gel-cream has a nice very gentle scent (I love it), it spreads nicely and is great for a lightweight moisturizer with anti-aging and soothing benefits.
It's essential oil free! Yes, there's a citrus extract in here but that shouldn't cause problems unless you've got contact dermatitis. The smell probably comes from the sea buckthorn.

I barely use it in my skincare routine; the sunscreen I use in the morning is already moisturising enough (the less steps in the morning the better) and at night I tend to go for thicker moisturizers/sleeping masks. And thus, I only use it when a thick moisturizer would be too much (for example, warm summer nights or when the sun has gone down, I just showered and it's too early for my nighttime routine).
This isn't a treatment product, it's a moisturizer with some benefits.
