💬Product claims :
“ Absorbs quickly and leaves no residue; comfortable to wear .
Ideal for all skin types .
Antioxidants and extracts increase moisture retention for smoother-looking skin
Four active sunscreen ingredients protect your skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays that cause burning , reddening and premature aging “
Texture :
White and creamy
How i used it :
At the last step of my morning skincare routine ( but only on my neck )
My personal experience using this:
✅ lighweight and no white cast ( because it’s a chemical sunscreen )
✅ no fragrance added + added antioxidants which is good for fighting off free radicals during the day
What i did not like about this :
As with most chemical sunscreens , this has alcohol which can be a little drying. Chemical filters don’t work well for my sensitive skin , skin feels tight and dehyrated after using this. I believe the chemical filters and alcohol exacerbated my dehydrated oily sensitive skin. ( this did not suit my skin type )
Kinda melts into a watery kind of texture when applying on the skin, but still takes a bit of effort to rub into the skin with most suncreens but relatively easy to rub it in. Good for layering because it doesn’t leave any whitecase . However my skin was left with an oily and sticky film afterwards , did not feel very comfortable on my skin , especially on my acne prone skin so that’s why i use it on my neck.
Does it live up to it’s product claims ?
- It does provide both UVA and UVA protection which is a key thing to look for in sunscreens in order to get broad spectrum protection.
- added antioxidants are essential for maintaing youthful and healthy skin
- would not say it’s suited for all skin types ( as with most chemical sunscreens )
- is SPF 30 which is what is recommend by dermatologist : anti aging benefits seem more like a marketing claim ( because all broad spectrum sunscreens will prevent sun damage which will in turn prevent ageing )
✅ Packaging :
Tube packaging which is great because it’s hygenic and easy to dispense the product, 100ml is also quite substantial so it can last for up to a few months.
Would i recommend ?
If your skin can tolerate chemical sunscreens this is not a bad option , but it’s not the best in the market in terms of texture and application . It’s value for money though because of how big it is.
