The essence is not only an essence but an emulsion too! It helps revitalize, clarify, and moisturize the skin. It claims to be hypoallergenic and has anti- wrinkle properties.
First impression of what it smells like to me?
The essence has a medium green tea smell to it just like the JayJun Okra Green Mask.
First impression of what the texture, consistency, and absorption is like to me?
Has a light white green color with a light gel cream consistency. Not sticky. Absorbs well into the skin.

Pros: Lightly moisturizes and brightens the skin. Not a heavy consistency which is good for oily, sensitive, and combination skin type. I think this goes well with the JayJun Okra Green Sheet mask. On its own, it would not be moisturizing enough for dry skin types.
