This cleansing balm comes in a jar with a screw cap and to be used as a makeup remover in the PM routine. It has amazing ingredients like Squalane, Argan Kernel Oil, and Tocopheryl Acetate.
It has a very solid balm but quite easy to dissolve into the oil so there is no need for harsh rubbing or tugging on the skin. I did not encounter any graininess once I massaged this balm so that itself is a good point for such. I love its sweet floral-fruity scent, almost reminds me of gummy bears. As for efficacy, this works well to remove makeup and sunscreen without leaving my skin feeling dry. My eyes did not turn blurry or cloudy when I start to emulsify the balm and no irritation either. This balm does its job pretty nicely.
However, I find this to leave a bit of greasiness post-cleansing. I know that using cleansing balm will make my skin super oily but usually, after emulsification and rinsing, the greasiness will dissipate but it is an exclusion for this balm. I need some good, not too gentle second cleanser to remove the extra layer of film which then again can lead to over-cleansing. Plus, I find with such a small quantity and the amount you needed to remove makeup, it can be quite expensive if we dissected the price per gram. These can cause some drawbacks to purchase the cleansing balm.
Overall, this cleansing balm is pretty decent and the complaints that I have for it is meticulous and probably due to the condition of my skin so if you want to try it, it still gets my verification.
