SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen

product review positives
☀️Type: - Water-resistant Mineral Sunscreen (filters: Zinc Oxide) ☀️Price: - $15 for 4.2oz (124mL) ☀️Texture/Scent/Finish: - This sunscreen has a rich cream consistency that glides on smoothly with minimal effort. It’s a little thick but spreads easily and works well into your skin. - It’s fragrance free but the natural scent smells different to many people. Personally, I think it smells like bubblegum (in a really good way) - This has a glowy and sort of dewy finish which is great for those with dry skin but may also work well for other skin types ☀️White Cast: - As a person of colour, there is a pretty visible white cast when you first apply it. However, once you started rubbing it in, the cast is greatly reduced. Lastly, I let it set in for around 10-20 mins and the cast is nearly gone. - It has a blueish-purple hue when you first apply it, however, it goes away once you let it settle. ☀️Eye-stinging: - This product has never stung my eyes. In fact, I use this especially for my eyes when I have to finish other sunscreens that do sting my eyes. It’s super gentle and easily moisturizes the eye area along with the rest of my face. ☀️What Skin Type? - I highly recommend this for those with dry skin. It has many wonderful ingredients, such as glycerin and jojoba seed oil, which work beautifully to nourish and moisturize the skin. - Because of its rich and moisturizing properties, people with oily or combo skin types (or even dry) may be able to skip moisturizer while using this sunscreen. - It doesn’t absorb much but rather acts like a moisturizer that forms a protective layer on your skin ☀️Overall thoughts: I love using this affordable yet effective sunscreen. It’s one of the best mineral formulations I’ve ever used and doesn’t break the bank. If you’re looking for a moisturizer and sunscreen in one, this is a fantastic choice as it contains various moisturizing ingredients along with a cream texture. Since this product has broad spectrum protection and is water resistant, it is great to travel with and carry around the purse/backpack. The generous size will last for ages and there’s no irritating/sensitizing side effects. Highly recommend!
product review negatives
I really don’t have much bad to say other than: - Some people might find it to be a little too thick for their preference - It might have more of a white cast on very dark skin tones - Since this product is made in New Zealand, I believe you can only buy it online from Amazon (it might be available in Australia/New Zealand in store but I don’t know for sure)
