I REALLY wanted to like this sunscreen. Matte finish? High SPF? Gel? For someone with oily skin, this seemed like it could be the perfect sunscreen! It’s quite thick for a gel sunscreen and is completely clear. No white cast and it felt almost like applying a layer of primer, where it sits on top of your skin and smooths everything out.
I saw bad reviews about the updated packaging (faulty cap) for this sunscreen but decided to go ahead and buy it despite all the bad reviews because I was so curious to try this sunscreen. The reviews don’t lie! I was extra careful when opening the sunscreen and also made sure not to screw the cap back on too tightly but on day 4, my cap broke. Day 4!!!
This sunscreen was a bit too thick for my liking and also didn’t consistently leave a matte finish on my skin. My skin is probably too oily for this sunscreen so someone with drier skin may like this better.
This was an okay sunscreen for me and I’m glad I tried it out. However, this will not be a repurchase for me.
