I could not detect any obvious scent. A plastic pincer is provided conveniently attached under the plastic top. I use two pieces of the pads, applying them onto my cheeks first to soothe any redness I might have. The texture of the pad is gentle & doesn't cause any irritation. The toner itself is watery & clear, and absorbs without any tackiness. It does soothe my skin redness & my pores are manageable after usage. Skin texture does somewhat improve, with a noticeable shiny complexion.
