This is a solid option for vitamin c beginners. My hyperpigmentation (PIE and PIH) definitely benefitted from using this. When combined with the TO Niacinamide (I know its recommended on their website not to do that, but I’m a rebel) it synergises to fade those spots very quickly. My sensitive skin did not experience any irritation aside from a little warm sensation. It’s also a pretty stable formulation and didn’t oxidise even after 6 months of opening.
The texture is the biggest drawback for me. Because of the oily feeling, I can’t seem to figure out a sweet spot for it in my morning routine. I also don’t have the patience to wait for it to dry down (which it never fully does). I can only use this as a spot treatment.
