Since the sunscreen issue that happened in Korea last year, I had to explore other sunscreens bcs my HG sunscreens were taken out from the market due to SPF level. Therefore I started to dare myself to try local german sunscreen in drugstore and my first drugstore sunscreen went to this Sundance from DM.
I chose the Sensitiv Sonnenfluid LSF 50+ bcs I saw many people here love this sunscreen. This sunscreen combines two different UV filters; organic & non-organic filter, so this is a hybrid sunscreen. This one is free from fragrance, EO, Octocrylene and microplastic. And itβs vegan, yeay! ππ»
With price tag ca. 5β¬, iβm quite satisfied for all claims that I got from this sunscreen. Texturewise feels like a thick white lotion, blends quite easily dan doesnβt sting my eyes. Despite of its waterproof claim, itβs still very washable without problem, hence inshaAllah this is safe for us who have to wudhu (cleansing step before prayer). Iβd say the finish is semi-matte and is not sticky at all. And somehow this sunscreen gives a blurred effect for my pores, which i luvπ.
For a drugstore product, this sunscreen is quite okay for me. Indeed, itβs a bit tricky and not as smooth as korean sunscreen, but this is still worth a try ππΌ
Unfortunately, I canβt use this sunscreen with a proper amount due to overpowering white cast. As indonesian who have a different skin tone with german, this white film makes me a bit uncomfortable, although I have a light medium skin. Thatβs why I prefer to use this when I just stay at home. Besides, after couple hours this sunscreen starts to show some pilling on my jaw and hair line area, but itβs just a minor. My advice, make sure all your skincare products sink in completely into your skin, otherwise it would pill like crazy!
