💖My experience with the product 💖
For the reference, I am 34 years old with oily acne prone skin with early signs of aging. I am not new to using acids in my skin care routine and my skin tolerate them well. As it states on the product’s packaging it contains 12% AHA + 3%BHA, I was thinking it is pretty strong acid treatment, but in fact it is actually more mild then the products I used before… 3%BHA is not salicylic acid percentage, but Willow bark extract, which contains salicin where salicylic acid comes from. Even though it has been proven to show similar results to synthetic salicylic acid is not nearly as potent and effective. As of naturally delivered AHA blend it is basically fruit extracts, so it is also way more gentle the glycolic at lactic acid for example. So, no wonder, after using stronger acids concentration products before, I didn’t notice much of the results using this serum. However, as I mentioned, my skin is pretty resilient, so it might be working really well for people with sensitive skin or for someone who is just starting introducing acids into their skin care routine.
It does feel nice on the skin, I barely smell any scent, I wasn’t tingling or burning at all. And the packaging is just adorable 😊
To conclude, while this serum wasn’t exactly what I was thinking it is and the strength of it wasn’t enough for my skin, I still think it’s pretty good product, just more suitable for sensitive skin type.
