I was drawn to this product because it doesn’t contain fragrance and I wanted to try double cleansing. I don’t wear makeup often but as someone with acne-prone combo skin I wanted to ensure I was getting rid of the day’s buildup and SPF after getting in from work each day. I did have a balm cleanser before but I read that they’re not advisable for someone with my skin concerns. SO I bought this. It does remove makeup very well and the squalene is certainly a win factor - very nourishing!
I’m not sure oil-based products are right for me. I did also break out a bit after using it, but to be fair that was probably my own fault - I didn’t rinse it off. I’m quite cautious of using this full stop. I wouldn’t describe it as a wonder product, but I think it comes down to it not matching well with me personally. I should think people with dry or sensitive skin would get along well with it! The only other bad point is that it’s quite difficult to control how much comes out with each application, the nozzle is quite drippy.
