The newest product from Aestura, there is the A-Cica Stress Relief line which only consists of 2 products, one of which is Cream-Essence.
This Cream-Essence is available in various sizes, ranging from sachets, 15ml, 80ml, and also 150ml.
For this 80ml bottle, the bottle is flexible like rubber so when you squeeze it it doesn't feel hard at all and the packaging design is quite cute, it looks like eye drops, just like a baby pacifier π
For the texture in the form of a cream that is not thick, so it's more like a watery essence, feels light on the skin, absorbs quickly but still makes the skin moist, doesn't feel greasy or sticky, and when it's set it makes the skin plump
If it smells like it doesn't have any scent at all, it doesn't have cica scents, and it doesn't contain any fragrance, so it's sensitive skin friendly.
What is the difference between this A-Cica and other Cica products?? In addition to containing 4 Cica (madecassoside, asiaticoside, asiantic acid, madecassic acid) in general, this Cream-Essence contains "Anti-stress glucanβ’" which benefits 2X stronger than ordinary Cica in soothing irritated and sensitive skin. In addition, Aestura also claims that this cream-essence absorbs 3X faster and deeper than ordinary creams.
Because this cream-essence is very light on my skin, I'm more prepared to use it as an emulsion, using it before moisturizer doesn't make my skin feel heavy at all, in fact I feel my skin is much more moisturised and more comfortable when given this cream-essence.
I am also a follower of a sect where face oil is used before moisturizer, using face oil before applying cream-essence makes the feel of the oil from the face oil less intense and more comfortable. If you have oily skin like me and want to try face oil, you can try this technique so that your skin doesn't feel greasy and use a water-based moisturizer or one that is comfortable on your skin.
You can also use this as a buffer if you want to layer the active ingredients, so that the effect of the active ingredients doesn't sting your skin and can help create a calming effect.
So far, he's been very helpful in calming my skin when I'm fussy, my skin is red or itchy and irritated when I apply it immediately and it doesn't get any worse, I put it on when I'm spotty and it doesn't tingle or sting. And so far he has not given any negative effect on my skin.
