So basically this Anua 5-Zero Mild Sun Cream is a physical sunscreen that’s claimed to be free of whitecast, uneven texture, ingredients causing allergies, 20 ingredients to avoid and skin irritation.
☀️Ingredients☀️
I can’t find the full ingredients online and it’s written in Korean on the box so I scanned it by using Google Translate 😆
You can see that Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide are the main ingredients here so it’s really a physical sunscreen.
☀️Texture, Scent & Finish☀️
The texture is creamy with a slightly thick body. This sun cream doesn’t contain any fragrance so there’s a noticeable chemical scent in it. When it’s freshly applied I can notice something similar to whitecast that comes from the UV filters, but I’m really surprised that the whitecast will vanish the more I rub it into my skin. It leaves nothing but a nice tone-up effect to my skin. This sun cream is not like other physical sunscreens; it feels moist and soft.
☀️My Experience☀️
I can say that this Anua 5-Zero Mild Sun Cream is a new experience for me. The first time I tried it, I used my gel-cream moisturizer and my skin felt a little dry and tight. It wasn’t uncomfortable for me even though I have oily skin. So I tried using it with a heavier moisturizer and it worked great. This could be my favorite sun cream for hot weather days.
I’m also happy that this product doesn’t make my skin more oily or greasy throughout the day. It doesn’t ball up and absorbs pretty quickly.
To be honest, physical sunscreens are not my cup of tea. I hate the whitecast, the drieness and it usually makes my skin look greyish during the day. But this product makes me believe in physical sunscreen again 🥺 I never thought that a physical sunscreen would be this good!
I recommend you to pair this sun cream with a heavier moisturizer if you have dry skin. But it works great as well on oily skin too. You have to try it by yourself then you’ll know.😉
