This serum has 0.5% Retinol and 4% Niacinamide The texture of the serum is watery gel serum. I don't smell any disturbing scent or fragrance from the serum

The first two nights I only used it on the areas that had breakouts and there were only pimples because even though the percentage is small, I still had to do a patch test, the results is safe on my skin. This serum doesn't cause a tingling sensation at all or make the skin dry (it's still recommended that you have staple basic skincare if you want to try retinol).
