Redsofia review for Sonya® Aloe Deep Moisturizing Cream

This cream made me quit on my previous moisturizer which I had been using for a decade. I recommend taking a look at the ingredients list in which you can see that the first ingredient (that is also the one with the biggest quantity percentage) is Aloe Vera Juice not Aqua. You can also see there antioxidants such as pine bark extract, ceramides to improve your skin texture and a wrinkle smoothing ingredient (palmitoyl tripeptide-5). The texture is close to thick but it leaves a soothing nice feeling on your skin without oiliness. I don’t like to use too many products and this cream is ideal for me because it can be used in the morning and in the night too. In fact your skin feels hydrated for a long time and you can put it only once a day if you like. Moreover this product is not just a good moisturizer but a nice anti aging cream too. The package seems to be somewhat bigger from the usual (71 grams) and also contains a tiny plastic scoop on a plastic disc underneath the cap. The manufacturer says that we have to use the scoop to remove the cream and place it on the plastic disc from where we can use the fingertips to apply it on the face. I find that ridiculous and contributing to plastic waste. I’m not sure that this cream is suitable for very oily skin, but I think it has to do more with the quantity you apply. For oily skin a very small quantity is enough, as you grow older and the skin changes to dry you will need more. As with most skin care products, especially creams, quantity is related to each one’s specific skin type / needs.
