1% Retinol Cream

⭐ Packaging ⭐ Comes in a plastic tub with a tin cap. It has 50ml product. ⭐ Texture ⭐ Really creamy and borderline buttery ⭐ Price ⭐ I git this for 449php on their initial lunch ⭐ Scent ⭐ It has a wierd scent. It's probably because of retinol It wasn't strong though. ⭐ Thoughts and Experience ⭐ This is a local brand from the PH. It's 1% reitinol so it's quite strong. I only use about a pea size or less of this since this is quite spreadable. I have high hopes for this since it's a local brand and 50g os quite a lot for its affordable cost.

But this one failed me quite big time. I experienced a terrible bout of purging. I'm breaking out on my jaw, cheeks, chin and even my forehead. I'm quite expecting that since it's 1%, it's the highest retinol I've ever use. But the thing is, after more that 2 months. My purging did not show any sign of healing. It's actually getting worse since what comes out looks like bug cystic acne that has multiple heads. I've never had anything like that before. And I'm approaching skin damage that would take me years to heal. Whatever this retinol has to offer, I'm not gonna exchange that for acne scarring that's gonna take me ages to smoothen out. So i stop using it. I just reach a point where it's not worth it anymore. I understand the basis of purging. And I'm pretty sure this wasn't some purging. 🦋 Recommend? 🦋 No. This is pretty unstable since i can still see aome specs of pure retinol. Save your skin 🦋 Repurchase? 🦋 Obviously no. I'm all for supporting local brands but i think rrawph had bitten something more than they can chew. This cream feels like rejuv. It also made me peel really really bad.

rraw for me is pretty sketchy especially this one which contains coconut oil which is a comedogenic ingredient and then they added retinol. 🥲🥲🥲 the only good thing that picky could find a holy grail for me, even through all the variety of products that rraw can offer, is the black tea clayey mask.

this one was pretty strong in my experience too, ruined my skin barrier and now I have acne marks. I wasn’t acne prone but when I started using this Acne keeps popping out. Oddly enough, I can’t find any reviews relating to the efficacy of their products especially their retinol. I saw their reviews from vloggers which I think was sponsored. This is actually the first honest review I’ve read regarding their products.
