I was eager to give a new lip scrub a try & caught this on a sale. I could not help but be enticed by the lovely frosted glass packaging. The ingredient list is also amazing as it is derived from natural ingredients, with 83.2% of those being organic. I also thought the addition of the lip spatula was great as well for sanitary purposes.
šø I was not fond of the scent or the [accidental] taste of this scrub. The muscovado sugar granules left a taste reminiscent of a bitter brown sugar or molasses. However if you are skilled enough to keep from accidentally tasting this or wouldn't mind, then it's no big deal. The taste is a matter of preference but it did not deter me from enjoying this lip scrub at all.
šø It claims to "lather" & the instructions mention to apply it onto wet lips. I would agree that it does have a slight "lather" to it & it is easier to spread across for that reason. It feels so deluxe & leaves my lips feeling incredibly soft but also kept conditioned behind an occlusive blend of amazing oils.
šø Overall, this feels like a luxurious, well made lip scrub with thoughtful ingredients, & equally thoughtful recyclable packaging. I like how it makes my lips feel. š
