May Coop Raw Sauce is a toner, emulsion and essence in one which intensively hydrates and nourishes the skin. The most special thing about this product is that is made with 93% maple tree sap, skin-nourishing fructan powder (eco-cert certified), and Asian herbal and fruit extracts. It is suitable for all skin types.

Ok should put the warning straight away. It does contain an alcohol and it is the second ingredient. I don't know really how it affects my skin but if feels mega dry recently (I am not sure though it's because of this product or cold weather). There is also added fragrance (one of the last ingredients), colour Ci15510 which is the last ingredient and according to ewg.org is a mild skin irritant. I also spotted Methylparaben in case you want your skincare products to be paraben free. I am not an ingredient expert for sure so you can check the rest if you are interested.

The product comes in a pretty frosted glass bottle (150ml and 40ml). The bottle was in a cloth bag and came in a cardboard box. I have full size one and it is quite heavy. The size is generous and the product must be used within 12 months of opening.

The texture is interesting. It is like a water but it has thickness so looks like a watery gel. Good thing is it is not runny and is easy to apply. The smell is lovely but overpowering. I like it but definitely not for people trying to avoid fragrance. The product should be used after cleansing and toning.

After applying I can feel instant hydration and it is like wakes up my skin, it is so refreshing. It absorbs quickly and goes well with other products. It does make a skin dewy and plump.

So the pros of this product- it's multi functional, the size is generous, the price is affordable, it is very hydrating and refreshing, comes in an elegant packaging. And it is cruelty free.

The cons are added high alcohol, fragrance and color, might irritate sensitive skin.
