Key Ingredients:
Ceramides (NP, AP, EOP)
Niacinamide
Hyaluronic Acid
Texture: Fairly heavy for a lotion(gel-cream consistency), but spreads easily and is absorbed quickly by the skin without leaving a heavy/greasy feeling.
My experience:
I bought this facial moisturizer last November because it was recommended by my favorite skincare content creator. At first, I thought it would sting my face because that's the first time I'll use a legit moisturizer ( I used an aloe gel back then). Luckily, I didn't experience any.
After a month, I switched to an oral retinoid. I tried to use this moisturizer again, and the sting sensation was gone. I enjoyed using this because of its smoothness and how fast it absorbs by my skin without leaving a greasy feeling. (I emptied my second bottle last night!) Will repurchase in the future π
Even though it is marketed as a night moisturizer, it can still be used in the morning.
Pros:
Lightweight
Oil-free
Fragrance-free
Non-comedogenic
Hypoallergenic
Suitable for all skin types
Rating: 4.8/5
Would I recommend it?
Yes! Especially if you have the budget and just want to simplify your routine with the basics or if you don't like wearing a moisturizer because of the heavy feeling (a moisturizer is beneficial, no matter what your skin type), this is perfect for you!
My experience
I consulted a dermatologist, bought the prescription meds and used it together with this facial moisturizer (retinoid-sandwich technique). I experienced a mild sting, especially on the side of my nose. That's why I immediately stopped using it and bought another moisturizer (huhu! waste of money).
Cons:
It may sting if you are new to topical retinoid
