Sea buckthorn is also known to be rich in beneficial plant compounds such as flavonoids and antioxidants.

๐ This serum possesses a watery texture, which is why itโs easily absorbed by the skin within seconds. It leaves the skin feeling fresh and hydrated, without stickiness. The liquid itself has a vibrant yellow-orange color, resembling that of some kind of tropical fruit juice. It also smells like what I thought it would smell like, fruity, reminding me of some kind of synthetic tropical fruit drink. As soon as I blend the serum into my skin, the scent quickly fades away within seconds. Lastly, this product is fragrance-free. The scent can be attributed to the naturally occurring smell of its ingredients.

๐ Wow, seems like an ideal summer/day-time serum that all skin types can enjoy, given all the descriptions Iโve listed above. Sadly, here comes the day that Iโll have to review a product that didnโt work for me. To get things straight, this broke me out. My face started developing small-medium-sized zits on areas around my mouth. By day 7, I cut this serum off my AM routine and thankfully, my skin started to clear out (with special thanks to Wishtrendโs Polyphenols + Propolis Ampoule- review in the next few weeks HA). I didnโt expect my skin to have that kind of reaction, especially because the formulation seemed to suit my skin type.
