Ole Henriksen’s Phat Glow is Ole’s first one step at home facial. This gentle massage activated mask will help you reduce the look of dark spots, pores, and fine lines. The key ingredients in this at home facial are:
- PHA: is the no-downtime exfoliating acid that helps exfoliate your skin, delivering skin that is smoother and illuminated.
- Chia Seed Oil: helps hydrate the skin
- Nordic Birch Slap: helps nourish and reduce inflammation
- Pink Bentonite Clay: helps to renew and clarify your skin. This is usually used in acne prone skin products.
I would use this every 3-4 days. I don’t have sensitive skin (combo) but sometimes I like to use a mask that isn’t as strong like The Ordinary’s AHA/BHA or DE Babyfacial so I wanted to give this a try. This was in no way hydrating for me. At times I felt like this made me dry. It did give me a subtle glow most of the time, it did help with post acne fading faster, and it helped smooth out my skin. But I got far better results with the AHA/BHA Peel and Babyfacial that didn’t leave my skin feeling dry.
PROS:
- Cruelty Free
- Free of parabens, sulfates, and formaldehyde’s
- Did help heal post acne
- Helped smooth skin
- Gave a subtle glow
CONS:
- This was not hydrating for me at all
- The nozzle, especially when you are halfway through the product, gets stuck and harder to push
- This is a massage activated facial. It goes on pink and is suppose to turn white once you massage it in. There were times when I couldn’t get it to turn completely white. It became to drying to continue massaging into face
- The scent
