Before starting my accutane journey, my skin was an oily mess. I would have never even thought about using something rich and balmy like this. Now as I near the ending of my accutane course, my skin has been super duper prone to dryness. For the first time in my life, lightweight moisturizers are not cutting it.
This triple lipid peptide cream has been such a saving grace for me. After using it off and on for several weeks just at nighttime, I have now started to use it both AM & PM. What I've noticed is that my skin does not feel dry nor tight by the end of day. This moisturizer basically supplies deep moisture to my skin and seals it in - practically hugging my dry skin to prevent moisture loss.
This cream features a peptide blend, a hyaluronic acid and seaweed blend, shea butter and lily root. The peptides and hyaluronic acid help to diminish the look of fine lines while delivering hydration and supplying a dewy glass skin look. The shea butter and lily helps to seal everything in to prevent this hydration from evaporating and supporting long term moisture.
the texture comes out a bit balmy and thicc, but once warmed on the skin, it melts in leaving a very smooth finish. This is fragrance free, but it smelled somewhat sweet on my skin - kinda reminded me of sugar cookies??
