I love how the fatty acids in this creamy, lightweight emulsion break down and melt away any traces of oil or makeup left on my skin. Leaving me feeling completely clean, soft and refreshed, but not stripped. And happy skin is beautiful skin.
I’ve been using it in the morning, and as a double cleanse at night because it works beautifully for both. Although I would not rely solely on this for heavier makeup days.
The other cleanser that I have on rotation currently is the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. Compared to that, this is less rich and creamy, and doesn’t contain those gorgeous ceramides. However CeraVe is not cruelty free, and going forward I’m making a conscious effort to look for better cruelty free options.
This milky cleanser is more of a sensorial experience, I personally love the warm and comforting oatmeal scent (even though it is actually fragrance free), and of course the packing is as cute as a button. But scent is a very personal thing.
As an additional note, if you are someone who likes a cleanser that lathers, you may struggle to love this one. Whereas I would be happy to never use a sudsy cleanser a day in my life again.
