I initially put this in my shopping cart intending to give it to my boyfriend, but when I looked at the ingredients I realized I’d use it as well! My boyfriend and I both love it, and we’ve seen some wonderful improvements in our skin since we began using this around 3 weeks ago. I have a pretty extensive nighttime routine, and this fits in perfectly. It does contain retinol, but it’s safe to use around the eye area per the instructions, and hasn’t caused any retinol uglies (peeling, purging etc.) for either of us. Our skin has been plumper, less congested, even toned, bright, and smooth! It’s a great price point and wonderful for both men and women- I’m not one to care about packaging so long as the product delivers and doesn’t smell like axe. I’ve used a plethora of retinol’s (I try them for at least six months before I stop using them) from Shani Darden’s to the Ordinary’s with no visible positive results and simply irritable skin; this one has been my holy grail- it works for me and my beau, and I’m so happy about it.
