[Discontinued] Medicica Calming Cream

product review positives
🌿 SKIN&LAB MEDICICA CALMING CREAM ✨ CLAIMS * A calming cream infused with magical cica capsules to deliver a burst of soothing hydration. * Moisturizing and soothing the sensitive skin at the same time. * The Green Cica Complex provides care for your tired skin. * Light and non sticky texture cream stays on your skin for a long time to hydrate the skin. * Calming * Sebum control * Soothing * Contains 50ml ✨ KEY INGREDIENTS * Centella Asiatica * Madecassoside * Panthenol ✨ TEXTURE * White gel cream * Spreads easily and leaves a fresh hydrating feeling to the skin. * Leaves the skin moist and soothes red areas on my face. * It doesn’t feel oily on the skin, has the perfect balance of a gel and a cream. A little bit occlusive, which is good as a final step moisturizer. * A little goes a long way, don’t use too much otherwise it will feel heavy and tacky (for oily/combo skin). ✨ SCENT * It’s fragrance-free yay! ✨ USAGE * Apply after skincare on sensitive skin area gently. * For better results, use with all Dr. TROUBLESS products. ✨ MY EXPERIENCE * I have been using this cream every night for two weeks. I use it at the last step of my evening routine. * I find it very soothing and moisturizes my face really well. * It didn’t broke me out or caused any irritation. * It is moisturizing and occlusive enough for my combo skin and a great final step to lock in all the hydration and my previous products. * As for sebum control, I don’t really see any difference. ✔️ PROS * Soothes and calm the skin * Moisturizes well but doesn’t feel heavy * Suitable for sensitive skin * Fresh and moist feeling * Fragrance and Essential Oil Free
product review negatives
❌ CONS * May be a little too heavy for day time or oily skin during summer * Doesn’t do much for anti-aging or brightening the skin * A little pricey ✨ FINAL THOUGHTS * Good basic/soothing moisturizer for oily/combo skin, even dry skin types may like this for summer time as it is a bit occlusive. * Feels fresh and moist without feeling heavy. * Overall, this is a good basic soothing moisturizer. Not gonna repurchase since I’m looking for some anti-aging benefits. 4/5 ⭐️ ✨ For more reviews, follow me at @allovertheskin
