Kiehl's Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner Review!
@barenotbear
This is actually my first toner. In the past, I just used a gentle cleanser, a moisturizer and sunscreen.
It was only until the end of 2018, I started breaking out like nobody's business and started using it.My cousin claimed it to be her holy grail so of course I had to try it.
Ingredients: It contains calendula which is known to provide anti-oxidant protection, soothe skin and reduce discomfort. It's also alcohol-free, fragrance-free and sulfate-free.
Packaging: I bought the 500ml one which is the largest size they have but it also comes in 2 other sizes.
Texture&scent: It's very watery and absorbs into the skin very quickly. It smells like some dried flower or flower tea which I like.π
πββοΈMy opinion: I think that the product has helped in soothing my skin, making my acne look less red and angry. It also helped to control the excess sebum on my t-zone.
I'd recommend using the product only when you have been breaking out or else it wouldn't be hydrating enough.π¦ I think oily, acne-prone skin would love this.
But I do realise that if I apply it when my skin is rather dehydrated, it tingles, so watch out for that. π€·ββοΈ(I have combination, dehydrated, acne-prone, sensitive skin btw)
