Because of the AHA and BHA, I wonder whether this can be used as a wash-off exfoliant for the lips. While my lips did feel smoother after using this, I will have to test it out a bit more to see if it does work like an exfoliant.
I've used lip plumping products before and usually they make lips tingle for a few mins. This one however, feels like itโs burning on my lips. The burning sensation doesnโt go away after a few mins, it stays there and the intensity reduces very gradually. I canโt stand the feeling so I donโt wait for it to go away, I remove the gloss. Due to the uncomfortable burning sensation, I think lip scrubs are a preferable way to exfoliate the lips. I did not notice a plumping effect from using this product.
