I didn't really start worrying about the effects of UV damage until I was already into my thirties. Now I stay out of the sun and seek out skincare with protective and reparative ingredients.
I was recently gifted the Rejuvenate Nutri-Serum Concentrate from Kumuya and Beautytap to try and review. This serum contains a number of helpful actives including bakuchiol, magnesium and hyaluronic acid. Lab testing showed this serum to have almost double the efficacy of Vitamin C in reducing cell aging due to UVA and UVB exposure.
I have been using it for just a couple of weeks and appreciate the hydrating and moisturizing results. I've not experienced any irritation or sensitivity while using this serum. It has a slightly milky color and viscous essence-like texture with a natural woody herbaceous scent. I have not been using this long enough to notice a difference in my fine lines, but my skin does feel and look more supple and hydrated.
I would recommend this serum for any skin type. I also highly recommend spot-testing, as always with any new product, and pairing with your favorite SPF during the daytime.
