Anua is a new beauty brand from South Korea, which has the concept of "simplicity, ingredients and relaxing", meaning that Anua only uses ingredients that are as simple as possible using natural ingredients (vegan) to keep skin healthy and comfortable to use every day.
Products from Anua are certified EWG green grade, 89% using natural ingredients, vegan, and cruelty free. One of Anua's products that I have used is the Gentle Cleanser.
The main ingredient is of course Houttuynia Cordata extract 35% which has anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial and anti-bacterial properties, helping to soothe troubled skin. In addition, there is Camellia Sinensis leaf extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) root extract, and Kigelia Africana fruit extract which also functions for calming skin. Then there is AHA to remove dead skin cells cleanly.
The texture is soft rich creamy, with quite a lot of foam, not a soft foamy type but more like a bubble. The foam is soft, easy to rinse, doesn't leave any residue, feels slippery when you first rinse it off but after a while it feels hydrated on the skin.
The aroma is a combination of lemon and herbs so it smells very fresh. The scent is not overly strong so it doesn't bother me when I wash my face.
I myself have used this cleanser for quite a while, I also use it from time to time and on different skin conditions. So far it's safe and comfortable to wear on all my skin conditions, when my skin is having a breakout it doesn't make it worse, when it's used under normal conditions it doesn't cause new pimples to grow, and when I put it on when my skin is dehydrated it doesn't make my skin tighter.
So far, the cleaning ability is quite OK, very clean, when rinsed it doesn't leave any residue on the skin, it doesn't make my skin dry or tight so it's very comfortable to use every day, feels moist on the skin, and the look after rinsing feels bright and fresh.
And for the packaging, I like it because it is quite minimalist and simple.
