I applied this after cleansing, toning and using my ampoule. The serum is opaque and a creamy colour. The consistency is non-greasy and quite thin. It absorbs quickly and doesnโt leave any tackiness or residue. It is perfect to layer with moisturiser as it is light-weight. I have been using this serum for a couple of weeks. I have been using it every other night to get my skin used to the retinol. It is important to note that the effects of retinol are not instant. Although upon application my skin feels instantly hydrated. It also has felt brighter and I havenโt experienced any breakouts when using this serum. Overall I am loving this serum. I find that serums can be so expensive whereas this one is so affordable, and available on Amazon for only ยฃ12.99. I definitely recommend this if you are looking to incorporate retinol into your routine. But make sure youโre strict with your SPF while using retinol as it may leave your skin more sensitive to sunlight.
