I’m using this to improve my post-acne redness and hyperpigmentation on my cheeks, as I get hormonal breakouts on the regular. This is my first experience with tranexamic acid and I must say I’m impressed despite it being early days.
Nicely packaged and has a pump dispenser for controlled use. Neutral but pleasant scent which you can get a whiff off if you unscrew the cap! Clear serum-y product as expected, doesn’t run and smooths over the skin well.
What I love most about this is that it’s technically not an acid! It can be used in conjunction with retinol which is what I’m going off and what attracted me to it. The science escapes me but basically it blocks hyperpigmentation and prevents it occuring in the skin! It’s not an exfoliant.
All in all, looking forward to seeing it take effect!
It will be a while before I see improvements, a good several weeks, but my skin feels sumptuous after using this and it’s just the nature of the beast!
