I have oily skin and stubborn acne, and since my teenage years I've used just about everything on the market to clear my zits up faster and reduce residual hyperpigmentation. I was a little wary of using this product due to its occlusive ingredients (more on that in a moment), but I figured giving it a try couldn't hurt, and I wound up being very pleasantly surprised!
This spot treatment cream uses plant-derived ingredients to soothe and dry up acne without irritating or drying the surrounding skin. It's quite thick, so a little goes a long way, and I found the size of the jar to be a good value. I apply it at night as the last step of my routine.
The occlusives in the product did not make my acne worse, but instead served a similar purpose as slugging--that is, they really sealed the helpful botanical ingredients in and held them close to the skin, which I think accelerated the product's overall effectiveness. Even after one night of use, I found that my active pimples were smaller, less inflamed, and less red.
I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone with acne troubles!
