🧡 My experience with product 🧡
I quite like Clinique as a brand, because they have such a great variety of products for different skin types and skin concerns, and most of the products I’ve tried from them were working great for me. Unfortunately, this sunscreen is one of the products that didn’t work for me at all. I really wanted to try it because of a hint of colour it is promising. I thought it would be just great for days I didn’t wear makeup to have a bit of colour in my sunscreen to even the skin tone out. And the colour worked perfectly fine for me, but the texture of it wasn’t great… Even though it’s pretty liquid, it’s not easy spreadable and feels kind of like paste. The formula is supposed to be oil free, but it still makes my face shiny and sticky… I tried to use it under makeup too, but it’s causing pilling. Sadly, I can’t really find any use for this product on my face and will try to use it up on my hands.
Apparently, this product is a replacement for Clinique City Block SPF 40, which was quite popular and had many fans. I did try it few year ago before it was discontinued and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, replacement is not nearly as good and didn’t work at all for my oily skin.
