Big things come in small tubes! That’s definitely the case with Acnecide’s spot treatment which contains 5% benzoyl peroxide, its active ingredient.
I suffer from hormonal acne so I get cystic lumps and bumps under the skin around my jaw and cheeks. Galderma’s gel-cream (best way to describe it!) gets to work minimising them and reducing the redness. It’s a really good remedy for such acne.
No complaints! Only thing I’ll say is that I wouldn’t so much recommend benzoyl peroxide products for more everyday acne such as whiteheads and blackheads. A BHA exfoliant is better for milder blemishes. But that’s just a matter of actives! Benzoyl peroxide is really for cystic and more stubborn acne not visible on the surface of the skin.
I would also caution sensitive skin peeps as it’s a powerful active. And of course, don’t mix with BHA! Frustrating when you got both types of acne going on 😅🍕 But the product itself? Great stuff!
